Christmas is made special by the people who give their time. Whether you can help wrap presents, prepare for the big day, serve Christmas dinner or simply bring a friendly smile, we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities may involve preparation in the days leading up to Christmas as well as Christmas Day itself.

Safeguarding

Christmas Day is for care-experienced young people, and some guests may be children. Because of this, some volunteering roles may involve safeguarding induction, supervision and background checks. Which of these apply depends on the role and what it involves, and Bfriends decides.

This form isn’t a safeguarding check, and sending it doesn’t clear you to volunteer. Please don’t include criminal record details, DBS numbers or certificate photographs here. If a role needs checks, the Bfriends team will explain the process to you directly.
